After downloading some of the free instrumentals on my website and recording a smash song. Post it to youtube with a video that you have recorded or at the very least some images that you have taken of yourself. Now title and tag this video with the name of some popular songs to steal some of the traffic coming in from these website. For example for some beats I have posted on youtube I have titled them Lil Wayne Instrumental. This is because people are searching for lil wayne instrumentals a lot more than they are searching for ages beats. Use this strategy to when you post your own videos.

Get on the street and promote your music on the ground level. You can even make money while you are doing it.
